Holding structures and asset protection
Strategic organisation of company and asset ownership — clear, efficient and ready for further growth.
I’m interested in this serviceWe help entrepreneurs, investors and asset owners organise the ownership of their companies and assets with care. The aim is a clear structure, more efficient use of capital and separation of business risks from long-term assets.
The right solution always depends on your situation, ownership relations and the chosen jurisdiction. That is why we start with an analysis, not a ready-made package.
How a holding structure works
A holding (parent) company usually does not trade itself. It owns shares in the operating companies and holds valuable assets — each level has a clear role.
You / your family
Instead of several companies, you directly own a single parent company.
Holding company
Manages the group and holds the shares and key assets — real estate, technology, trademarks.
-
Operating company
Trading, contracts and employees. Carries the everyday business risk.
-
Higher-risk project
A new or riskier activity kept in a separate company.
-
Company for an investor
An investor joins only a specific company, not the whole group.
100% ownership. ↑ profit to the holding · ↓ assets leased and capital provided on market terms.

When a holding makes sense
- You own several companies and want to manage them from one place
- You are preparing to sell a company or part of it — one company can be sold without affecting the rest of the group
- An investor wants to come in, but only into a specific project
- You are planning succession — heirs receive a stake in one parent company
- You want to separate a riskier activity from valuable assets
What to watch out for
- The holding must have a real function — management, administration or economic activity. A purely formal structure may attract the attention of the tax authorities.
- Transactions between group companies must be on market terms and are subject to transfer pricing rules.
- Loans, leases and services within the group need written agreements, even when the same people stand behind every company.
- Privacy yes, concealment no. Ownership must always be transparent to banks, tax authorities and beneficial ownership registers.

Frequently asked questions
Is a holding worthwhile for a small business?
For a start-up with no employees or valuable assets, usually not. It makes most sense with several companies, valuable assets, a planned sale or an investor coming in.
Does a holding guarantee the owner’s anonymity?
No. A holding lets you organise ownership lawfully and limit unnecessary disclosure, but the ultimate owner must always be known to banks, authorities and the relevant registers.
How do existing companies get under the holding?
Most often by transferring the ownership interests to the parent company or contributing them in kind. It is the most technically demanding step, so we prepare it together with a tax adviser.
